Construction Almost Completed: Fisher Houses

HTK has been working along side Designtech on multiple Fisher House locations throughout the years. Fisher projects are fast moving projects that utilize various site conditions due to the nature of the projects. The sites are usually gifts from the Fisher House Foundation to the military, so the sites usually need special considerations for poor soils and/or difficult building conditions. Some of the houses have varying architectural features to match their surroundings. Two current locations in Denver, CO [pictured] and Ann Arbor, MI are being finished with stone, while previous houses have been adobe style (Las Vegas, NV) and old Victorian style (Charleston, SC), among others.

The Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. These homes are located at major U.S. military and VA medical centers nationwide, close to the medical center or hospital it serves.
